Since I am disabled I really love the touchscreen (there's a whole other story there) and really depend on this laptop but I'm going to return this one too while it's still under warranty. The 1st one worked a few months and then EXACT same keys went out. I'm loosing confidence in Dell's products. then what?įrom reading ALL the blogs on THIS problem. I get it repaired and then it fails again for the same reason in a few months. This might be contributing to the problems of the keyboard. that I have to use a lap desk in order to keep my lap from burning up. I ALSO noticed in the last few months, there is an exorbitant amount of heat coming mostly from the left underside bottom, so much so. I REFUSE to keep wasting my money on laptops and want to have this one repaired under warranty. it's only 10 months old and still under warranty. does anyone know if they have found a solution yet? My warranty expires in Nov and I've been dealing with this (real pain in the ***) problem for a good 2-3 months now and my hubby wants me to buy a new laptop (certainly NOT another DELL after THIS problem) instead of trying to fix this Inspiron 11, model # 3147. NOW that Dell KNOWS about the above keys not working correctly.
